Company demonstrates commitment to educating consumers
about natural gas
Stamford,
CT, - October 26, 2006 --
MXenergy is pleased to announce the success of its roundtable luncheon, “Making Informed Energy Decisions,” held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Savannah, Georgia. The event was a part of MXenergy's ongoing commitment to provide clients and prospective customers with information about the role of natural gas in the volatile energy market.
MXenergy CEO Jeffrey Mayer and Georgia Sales Representative Bryan Treadway, the main speakers at the event, gave a short presentation and then engaged participants in a frank discussion about natural gas and its implications for the energy sector.
"At MXenergy, we believe it is essential to provide clear and honest information about natural gas and its place in the energy market," said Treadway. "Energy choices can be very confusing, and our customers need to have a strong grasp of the fundamentals before making such an important business decision."
"A well-informed consumer is our ideal customer, and we have a duty to educate businesses about their options," agreed Mayer. "It's a responsibility we take very seriously."
Discussion topics at the luncheon included an overview of natural gas prices over the past year and key factors affecting the market. Participants learned about natural gas distribution and storage, and how their energy choices impact their financial bottom line. A detailed discussion of the merits of fixed vs. variable plans was followed by a Q&A with MXenergy representatives.
