Summit Energy Accounts Move to MXenergy
STAMFORD, CT, March 15, 2001 – Summit Energy, an Ohio retail gas marketer, announced today that all accounts have been assigned to MXenergy and will receive their supply from MXenergy beginning with their April 2001 billing cycle.
MXenergy currently serves residential and commercial customers in five states and seven utility territories, including Dominion East Ohio, the host utility for many of Summit’s accounts.
“All contractual terms and conditions will be honored in full,” reported Robi Artman-Hodge, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of MXenergy. “Customers will notice no difference in service,” she said.
Summit’s customers include several thousand residential and commercial customers throughout Ohio, principally in the Cleveland metropolitan area.
“We are pleased that MXenergy has agreed to take over these accounts,” said Joe Haas, president of Summit Energy. “This enables Summit to concentrate on what it does best, namely, advising customers on managing their energy supply and finding them the best market prices for long term price protection.” |
