MXenergy Offers Competitive Electricity Prices to Massachusetts Customers    
Rates Currently Lower than National Grid through April

STAMFORD, Conn., - February 6, 2007 – Massachusetts residents can reduce their electricity costs by switching to MxEnergy Inc. (“MXenergy”), which now offers lower rates than National Grid.

MXenergy is currently providing a $25 cash rebate to all new residential and commercial customers who sign up by February 28, 2007.  The company’s current power supply rate of 10.8 cents per kilowatt hour beats both National Grid’s current fixed rate (11.67 cents) and variable rate (13.58 cents). MXenergy officials said these savings are expected to last through April.  

Customers can enroll by telephone or through the company’s Web site, www.mxenergy.com.  There are no sign-up or cancellation fees involved.
