MXENERGY Inc. (Stamford, Conn.) -- Steven Murray was named chief operating officer of this utility company. Mr. Murray, 46, succeeds Carole Artman-Hodge, 55, who will continue to oversee strategic-development initiatives as an executive vice president. Mr. Murray was president and CEO of Shell Energy Services Co., which MXenergy acquired Aug. 1.
