MXenergy moves into Texas

MXenergy, a natural gas and electricity supplier, moved into Texas after its purchase of the assets of Vantage Power Services, according to the DBJ. That includes customers in Dallas-Fort Worth, an area it wants to grow. MXenergy is based in Connecticut, but will keep nearly all of the Vantage employees in Texas.

Its CEO has a blog and its Web page offers an "earth friendly" program where it'll chip in on the cost of planting trees and help make your home "carbon neutral." Maybe it could offer training sessions to the Dallas City Council.
