MXenergy is proud to serve so many unique communities with natural gas and electricity. Our goal is to do what we can to help out and make a difference. When our MXenergy mobile truck was empty, we filled it with coats and food to help the less fortunate. When a local friend needed help building an electric car to teach his community about environmental responsibility, we chipped in to make it happen. Check back regularly to see what we’re doing in YOUR community.

Electric Vehicle Sponsorship
2009/2010
James Boncek recently made his dream a reality by retrofitting a 1993 Toyota Tercel into a fully operational electric vehicle. He felt it was critical to do his part to help the community, and the earth, the best way he knew how. As a trained auto technician he took a $100 car, 100 hours of research and 100 hours of hard labor and turned it into something he can be proud of. He now uses the car for his 9 mile round trip commute each day while driving right by the gas pump. When not working at the Fairfield Theatre Company in his hometown of Fairfield, CT James is spending his time in classrooms throughout the community teaching about the process to build the car and how everyone can do their part. MXenergy is proud to support this successful endeavor. Click here to learn more.
